2. The essentials at a glance

This website does not use any analytics or tracking tools. It does not embed external content such as fonts, videos, maps or social media plugins, and it does not set any cookies itself. Personal data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide the website and to answer your enquiries.

3. Hosting and provision of the website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”) and delivered via its global server network. When you visit the website, Cloudflare automatically processes data transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files):

This processing serves the technical delivery of the website as well as its stability and security, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and reliably.

Cloudflare acts as our processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses are used. Log data is only stored for as long as necessary for the purposes stated. Further information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

4. Cookies

We do not set any cookies. To protect the website against misuse, Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies. These are required for operation and do not require consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the legal basis for the associated processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you switch between light and dark mode using the toggle at the top, your browser stores this choice locally on your device (local storage). This information is not transmitted to us. Storing it is necessary for the function you requested and therefore does not require consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, contact details, details of your event and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote or carry out an assignment.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Emails are stored by our email provider, which acts as our processor.

We delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, unless statutory retention obligations – in particular under commercial and tax law – prevent this.

6. Encryption

The connection to this website is encrypted using SSL/TLS. You can recognise this by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient for all of these requests.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
